Has anyone besides me noticed that when the government (local, state, federal) uses our tax dollars to repair-repave roads that invariably they then proceed to tear them up.
Usually within four to 12 months, they start a fiber-optic, water main, sewer main or gas main project that when completed leaves the road in as bad as shape as it was before. They dig it up and the subsequent patchwork leaves the road(s) uneven.
Witness what they are doing to Yosemite Boulevard now. How long before they tear up the Scenic bridge for a seismic retrofit?
