Our country has gone insane

In the wake of this tragedy in Newtown, Conn., I keep reading all these crazy things that are suppose to change in America, like putting more guns out there and arming the teachers. How nutty can people get? More guns equal more bullets, which equals more killing. How many of these things have been stopped by someone else with a gun? Zero!

I do not believe we need a rush to massive gun control at this time, because I don't think that will solve the problem. What we have is a divided nation. We listen to all this BS on the radio and TV and think those who think different than we do are anti-American. Nonsense! We are all Americans, liberals as well as conservatives, Christian as well as atheists. Do you think that only conservative Christians have ever gone to war to defend this country?

It's time we started talking to each other and found some safe, sane safety regulations for our firearms and ammo.

Something's wrong when we kill more people with guns here at home than we do in our wars. When our kids are no longer safe anywhere, something is really wrong.
