SAN FRANCISCO -- A tour of the San Francisco Giants' 2012 World Series championship trophy begins Jan. 8 in Sacramento, a posting on the team's Web site states. It will be the second public trophy tour in the past three years and will feature both the 2012 and 2010 trophies. The hardware visits Modesto on Feb. 19. The tour will go through Northern California with dates in January, February and March. The team says fans will have the chance to have their photo taken with the trophies.
