Reason to go: It's billed "Tahoe's Best Snow Park For Kids," featuring Tube Town and Planet Kids.

Reason to go: A friendly atmosphere at one of California's last family run resorts. Ski or tube for free if you stay at Rustic Cottages Resorts.
