God is everywhere, including schools

Mike Huckabee has been saying that the school shooting in Connecticut happened because we have taken God out of our schools. I not only disagree with him, I think this may border on heresy. Psalm 139:7-10 says "Where can I go from your spirit? Or where can I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, you are there. If I take the wings of the morning and settle at the farthest limits of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me fast."

We, as humans, most surely do not have the power to banish God from our schools. God is present there and everywhere. God was present even during the slaughter of those precious kids, and God was weeping. It is up to us to take action to prevent another incident of this kind of senseless violence.
