Young Masters Art Show being held at Mistlin Gallery

The Central California Art Association is holding the 38th annual Young Masters Art Show at Mistlin Gallery from Jan. 15 to Feb. 9 for young artists, preschool through high school.

Categories are in painting, drawing, photography and sculpture and are grouped by age. All participants receive a certificate and award winners receive art supplies and ribbons as prizes. The show is part of Third Thursday Art Walk on Jan. 17.

The show culminates in an awards ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 9.

Receiving for art teachers is Jan. 11 from 2 to 5 p.m. and for individuals it's Jan. 12 from noon to 4 p.m.
