Mostly clear sky in coming days

— Downtown Modesto recorded more than an eighth of an inch of rain Wednesday, according to the Modesto Irrigation District.

The precipitation included a bit of hail in the late afternoon.

The recorded high temperature was 55 degrees.

The National Weather Service forecast for Modesto for the next few days calls for a partly to mostly cloudy sky with high temperatures in the low to mid-50s.

Saturday night brings a 40 percent chance of rain.
