HART-RANSOM TO MEET:

The Hart-Ransom Union School District board will meet at 6 tonight in the district boardroom, 3930 Shoemake Ave., Modesto. Members will hear a budget update and consider a deal with Comcast to upgrade Internet connection speed. They will vote on a proposal to raise the Eagles Nest student fee from $50 to $75 per month.

KNIGHTS FERRY TO MEET:

The Knights Ferry School District board will meet at 6:30 tonight in the Knights Ferry Elementary cafeteria, 12726 Dent St. Members will discuss planning for student achievement and pick Feb. 1 or 2 for a community workshop.
