Whatever happened to personal accountability?

It was nauseating to read the latest article about James Hooker. His attorney is quoted as saying the news coverage has ruined her client's reputation.

Forgive me, but I don't think he needed news coverage to ruin his reputation. He did a fine job of that himself, when he chose his actions. Let's call it like it is, and keep responsibility where it belongs.
