Left wants Obama critics to shut up

Pompous, smug, arrogant, mocking, condescending and intolerant to any views other than their own are some of the words that identify the modern left-wing progressive liberal. Wow, these are the same characteristics possessed by the president.

The rash of recent letters in The Bee reflects the same attitude, as they gloat over the president's re-election, attacking anyone who dares criticize his policies. Free speech is definitely under attack, and they want to shut everyone up who has a different opinion than theirs.

They seem to ignore the failure of the president's policies the last four years. We now suffer with more than $16 trillion in debt that even our great-great grandchildren will not be able to pay off, with 23 million people out of work, 50 million on food stamps and a huge increase of people getting Social Security disability because they have given up looking for a job.

Good luck during the next four years; we will need it.
