The rich help this country

I enjoy reading the Opinions pages of this newspaper; they do give both sides on politics.

A Nov. 30 letter writer, along with most Democrats, keep blaming the rich and of course it's only Republicans that are rich. Someone has to start informing these far left liberals that the rich do more to help this country than hurt the poor. They donate millions in trying to support the needy but you never hear about this.

Let's just look at men that have created hundreds of thousands good jobs and benefits. Look at Bill Gates and other very rich men like Steve Wozniak and the late Steve Jobs. These men, along with hundreds more like them, do more for the U.S. economy than government only dreams of doing.

In the same paper another writer said don't blame President Barack Obama for Benghazi, blame George Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and Condoleezza Rice. Give me a break. The last four years have been very bad, two of those years Obama had the House and Senate and the economy got worse; who will he blame after the next years of his presidency?
