Re: the dog bite incident: I have personally seen this happen to someone who had been drinking. This person was sitting on the couch at a friend's house, agitating the dog by direct eye contact and thrusting her face at the dog.

The dog finally had enough and bit her. Anybody who owns dogs knows you don't do that to them.

There is no question that McKenzie Leedom was agitating the dog with eye contact in his domain and when he had had enough she got bit. She is an adult and has been around dogs. She certainly knows the do's and don'ts. She claims the attack was unprovoked.

Family pets are taught to like people and don't bite people unless they are agitated or provoked. I saw first-hand what happens when you agitate a dog. Putting this dog to sleep is dead wrong.
