Gunman holds up McHenry store

An armed man held up the McHenry Avenue Stop N Save early Saturday, Modesto police reported.

He took an undisclosed amount of cash from the store at 3800 McHenry Ave.

The robbery took place at 5:19 a.m. No one was injured.

Lt. Jeramy Young said the robber is a white man armed with a gun. He was wearing a black coat, blue jeans and a bandana over his face. Young said the gunman was last seen fleeing on foot north on McHenry.
