Ripon woman arrested on drug charges

RIPON -- Ripon police early Tuesday arrested a22-year-old woman on suspicion of possessing marijuana, prescription drugs, drug paraphernalia and a digital scale.

The incident occurred about 1:15 a.m. near Van Dyken Way and Fourth Street in Ripon.

An officer found Veronica Michelle Rodriguez of Ripon in a parked car with the marijuana in plain sight, police said.

Rodriguez was cited and released on suspicion of possessing marijuana, a controlled substance without a prescription and drug paraphernalia.
