(Patty Guerra/pguerra@modbee.com) A two-car crash left one woman injured and Santa Fe Avenue in Hughson closed on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012. Matt Thomas, 32, of Modesto, said he was driving west on Santa Fe when a woman in an SUV pulled out of Seventh Street in front of his work truck and trailer.

— A two-car crash left one woman injured and Santa Fe Avenue in Hughson closed this morning.

Matt Thomas, 32, of Modesto, said he was driving west on Santa Fe when a woman in an SUV pulled out of Seventh Street in front of his work truck and trailer.

"I didn't have a chance to stop and I T-boned her," he said.

The truck and SUV smashed trhough different parts of a long fence that borders a home along Santa Fe.

Thomas was not hurt.

The woman, who was pinned in her vehicle, suffered undisclosed injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.

Crews expected Santa Fe to be reopened shortly.
