The San Francisco Giants re-signed postseason hero Marco Scutaro to a three-year deal on Tuesday. FoxSports.com is reporting that the pact is worth $20 million.
Scutaro was acquired by the Giants from Colorado midway through last season and was a huge part of San Francisco's success down the stretch, as he batted.362 in 61 games after hitting .271 in 95 games for the Rockies.
The 37-year-old infielder carried that into the postseason and was the NLCS MVP after hitting .500 with three doubles and four RBI in the Giants' seven- game win over the St. Louis Cardinals.
