Wolfgang Puck Wines hitting retail stores

Wolfgang Puck Wines, made for the famed chef by Manteca-based DFV Wines, are hitting selected retail stores.

The wines were launched in 2010 but until now have been available only at Puck's restaurants and catering venues around the nation and beyond.

Retail locations in the Northern San Joaquin Valley have not been announced.

The wines, priced at an average of $14.99, include cabernet sauvignon, merlot, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc and a red blend.

DFV, formerly known as Delicato, has been operated by the Indelicato family since the 1920s and includes wines from coastal regions.
