‘City Lights’ glow in Turlock

Turlock -- The full-length musical comedy "City Lights, Country Nights" will be presented today in Turlock by Westside Ministries and the Center for Urban Performance and Service.

A cast of more than 200 children and youths will dance their way from New York City to the small town of Pickle Fork, W.Va. They will perform to music from the movie "Elf," to Christmas classics and to country and pop hits.

Showtimes are 2 and 7 p.m. at Turlock Community Theatre, 1574 East Canal Drive.

A silent auction will be held before both performances to support Community Cultivators 4-H club.

The event is free, but an offering will be taken to help defray the cost of the production.
