CSUS' Demery named to third All-America team

TURLOCK -- For the third time in as many years, Karenee Demery has been named to the Daktronics NCAA Division II Women's Soccer All-America second team, announced on Thursday. Demery led the Warriors and the CCAA in goals and was named the CCAA's most valuable offensive player of the year for the second time. Demery was the Daktronics West Region Player of the Year for the second time as well. In 2012, the junior forward from Merced scored 19 goals with three hat tricks. She also led the CCAA with 41 points and nine game-winning goals. The 2012 Ron Lenz National Player of the Year award went to Carmelina Puopolo of St. Rose.
