MODESTO -- A call about a hit-and-run accident Wednesday morning in Modesto turned out to be an argument between a brother and sister that ended when he drove away while she was holding onto the car.
According to Modesto police officer Scott Nelson, the accident occurred at 8:15 a.m. on Byron Lane near South Emerald Avenue.
The siblings, both adults, were arguing. The woman, who was holding a child, held onto the car as her brother drove away.
