MODESTO -- We're getting a little break from the rain in the Northern San Joaquin Valley this morning, but forecasters predict more by this evening as the next in a series of storms moves into the area.
Rain and wind is expected to return after 4 p.m., and stick around through Sunday. The biggest gusts of the storm are anticipated Friday, with gusts of up to 44 mph.
It's a warm storm, a National Weather Service forecaster said, with highs in the 60s in the valley and the snow level at about 7,000 feet.
