No real raise for teachers in Ceres

In response to "Prop. 30 means raises for teachers" (Nov. 16, Letters): The Ceres teachers agreed to an 8.5 percent pay cut three years ago. To date, that cut has not been fully restored. The 1.3 percent is pay restoration and not a raise. Ceres teachers remain 2.5 percent below base salary. The 8.5 percent will never be fully recovered by most teachers. I see no raise in our future.
