DELAYS, DETOURS

• Traffic controls are in place with one lane of travel on Sylvan Avenue from Millbrook Avenue to Claus Road. Motorists are asked to travel slowly through the work zone and use alternate routes when possible.

• Traffic controls are in place with narrow lanes, and delays are anticipated through Friday for the Carpenter Road bridge seismic retrofit. Motorists are requested to travel slowly through the work zone and use alternate routes when possible. Oversized and wide-load vehicles should use alternate routes.

• For gas main replacement by Pacific Gas & Electric, Claratina Avenue from McHenry Avenue to Coffee Road is restricted to alternating, one-way traffic control with flaggers. There also is shoulder work along Coffee Road from Claratina to Claribel Road. Work will run Mondays through Saturdays, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Drivers should expect delays. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and pay attention to signs. Drivers should use alternate routes when possible.
