Release the hounds! Dog show comes to Turlock

TURLOCK -- The Golden Valley Kennel Club held two all-breed dog shows for conformation, obedience trials and rally on Friday and Saturday at the Stanislaus County Fairground in Turlock.

Carol Furtado of Sparks, Nev., brought her Old English sheepdog named Harley, and breeds such as Samoyeds and Ibizan hounds were shown.
