Oakdale Irrigation District will discuss SF water inquiry

This will be a short week for most government workers, with most offices closed Thursday and Friday. It's also a light week for government meetings.

• The Oakdale Irrigation District board, meeting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, will have a public discussion on an inquiry from the city and county of San Francisco about purchasing water from the OID. 1205 F St.

• The Turlock Irrigation District board also meets at 9 a.m. Tuesday. 333 East Canal Drive.

• The Modesto Planning Commission meets at 6 tonight. Basement, Tenth Street Place.
