Regarding the recent stories on Father Michael Kelly: Now there is someone fishing for victims. What has this world come to?
There is not a time in my life I that I don't remember Father Mike doing magic tricks, telling jokes or playing his guitar in our family room. Never have I seen such slander of a good man. It is heart-breaking. He has been a family friend my whole life and never have I met a better man. He baptized my daughter and all four of my nieces and nephews.
I find it ironic in his 40-plus years serving several parishes that this is the first time that this has come up. Sadly it says a lot about our society. I would like for The Bee to run all positive things that Father Mike has done for his parishes instead of focusing on the claims of some money-hungry individuals.
