Stop complaining, GOP

Some of us are weary of the bashing that Republicans give President Obama for not doing what he said he would do when elected in 2008. To them goes this admonition: It was their party in 2010 that vowed to do everything possible to make Obama a one-term president and they obstructed everything in Congress, including their own ideas, to make an attempt at doing that.

They rejected a debt ceiling deal that would have solved the issue we face today with the "fiscal cliff" mandated cuts. They claim that rich people paying what they did under President Clinton would kill jobs, another disproven claim by independent outsiders. Under Clinton's rates, rich people did not kill off jobs. We created more than 20 million jobs and rich folks got richer every day. To those whose letters were in the Nov. 11 Bee, I say it was your party that caused the economic collapse of 2008 and has fought recovery every step of the way since. Stop complaining and start working for all of us and you will feel better, by accident.
