TURLOCK -- Police arrested at Turlock man this morning on a charge of hit-and-run after an accident left a motorcyclist with a broken leg and other injuries.
According to Turlock Police Sgt. Stephen Webb, the accident occurred at West Main Street and North Tully Road just before 7 a.m. The motorcyclist was heading east on Main, getting ready to turn north onto Tully when a man in a pickup pulled out of a nearby Circle K parking lot and went to get into the turn lane, clipping the bike.
The driver fled the scene; witnesses called in a description of the truck. Officers found it on Pioneer Avenue, a couple of miles away.
