• COUNTY BOARD TO MEET: The Stanislaus County Board of Education will meet at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Stanislaus County Office of Education board room, 1100 H St., Modesto. • CERES TO MEET: The Ceres Unified School District board will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the district office board room, 2503 Lawrence St., Ceres. Trustees will be asked to approve a 1.3 percent raise for employees retroactive to July 1. The board will hear several financial reports and assign board duties and offices for the coming year. • HUGHSON TO MEET:The Hughson Unified School District board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the district office, 6815 Hughson Ave., Hughson. Trustees will hear a report on common core standards and discuss board policies regarding charter petitions. The board is expected to approve an agreement with California State University, Fresno, to allow student teachers from the speech-language pathology program. • SUMMERVILLE TO MEET: The Summerville Union High School District board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Summerville High School library, 17555 Tuolumne Road, Tuolumne. The board will hold a public hearing on a proposal to modify high school graduation requirements to allow a vocational course to substitute for the foreign language or fine arts requirement.
