• CAREGIVER PRESENTATION

Info: Community Hospice offers Caregiver College, a series of free educational presentations for family caregivers who are caring for an aging loved one. This month's topic is "Maximizing Veteran's Benefits." Many aging veterans are unaware of the full range of Department of Veterans Affairs benefits available to them. One-hour presentation to learn about VA benefits, including financial resources. This is a great event for adults who provide daily support for their aging parents or spouses. • ADA ADVISORY TEAM MEETING

Info: The public is invited to the first ADA Advisory Team meeting, held by the city of Turlock and facilitated by Arfaraz Khambatta, Sally Swanson Architects. The advisory team is an ad-hoc committee of community stakeholders to assist city staff (ADA Compliance Team) with City Project No. 11-27, "ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan Update." The team's mission is to address accessibility issues and areas of concern with the city of Turlock's programs, services and facilities.
