Five For Friday

MERCED (7-3) at LINCOLN (7-3): The Bears open the playoffs on the road against a Trojans team led by USC-bound running back Justin Davis. This game will feature a lot of points and a lot of great athletes.

McNAIR (7-3) at BUHACH COLONY (8-2): The Thunder have been rolling with a five-game winning streak. Buhach Colony has scored at least 42 points in its last four games.

SUMMERVILLE (8-2) at LOS BANOS (9-1): The Tigers are getting healthy at the right time. Receiver Daeton West should be back in action tonight to help take some of the pressure off running back James Sams.

ATWATER (6-4) at FOLSOM (10-0): The Sac-Joaquin Section did the Falcons no favor by sending them to Folsom. Atwater will have to try to slow down the Folsom passing attack led by quarterback Jake Browning, who has passed for 3,726 yards and 43 touchdowns.

RIO VISTA (5-5) at LE GRAND (8-2): The Bulldogs will come out angry after last week's loss to Ripon Christian, a defeat that cost Le Grand the outright Southern League championship and a top seed in the playoffs.
