JOHN MUNDT

Central Catholic tight end

What he did: Headed to the University of Oregon next fall, the 6-foot-5, 235-pounder caught TD passes of 35 and 70 yards as the Raiders routed Patterson 63-20 for the undisputed WAC crown. Mundt's TDs were virtually identical, as he caught a short pass just moments into the play and outran the secondary to the end zone. Mundt has 25 catches for 461 yards, averaging 18.4 yards a catch, and has scored six TDs.

What it means: The Raiders have struggled to get Mundt more involved in their pass attack, but he averages just 2.5 catches per game. He caught just 13 passes in the six WAC games.

What's next: Central (8-2) is a No. 6 seed in Division 4 bracket and hosts No. 11 Bear River (8-2). Central has a section-record 15 titles.
