Rollover on Highway 99 in Modesto injures 2 men

MODESTO -- Two men suffered serious injuries in a rollover accident on northbound Highway 99 just north of the Standiford Avenue exit at 3:49 p.m. Sunday.

Firefighters were able to free the driver but had to use hydraulic shears to extricate the passenger, said Modesto Regional Fire Authority Battalion Chief Randy Anderson. No other details were available Sunday night.
