Oakdale scout will honor vets

Daniel Davis of Oakdale is organizing a Veterans Day event as the service project needed to become an Eagle Scout.

It will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Nov. 12 behind the Oakdale Museum, 212 W. F St. Daniel is lining up veterans to speak as well as a speaker who will talk about respect for the flag.

The event will end with a flag retirement. Refreshments will be served.
