Others helped seek hiker

The Oct. 28 article on the rescue of Jessica Garcia neglected to include the Fresno County search and rescue team that participated in the search. The team was composed of several civilian members of the mountaineering unit and led by deputy sheriff Matt Hamilton. The lesson learned here is that, at a minimum, let someone know where you are headed and when you intend to return. We are all thankful for Jessica's rescue and continued recovery.
