Even good guys annoy me at times

Are voters aware of the appallingly slick mailers and TV spots that only bad-mouth Democratic candidates without naming their GOP opponents? Someone spends tons of money on this, and I don't think it's Bill Berryhill or "local farmer" Jeff Denham. Citizens United strikes again!

On the other hand, the good guys send a score of spams each day asking me to "chip in" $3 or $5. The deadline has been "tonight" for at least a month. They're all good people, but if I honored each plea, it would eat up my entire Social Security check. Go Jose Hernandez and Cathleen Galgiani, anyway.
