I do not have a favorite scary movie, mainly because I do not watch scary movies. However, as far as creepy goes, the movie "Knowing," starring Nicolas Cage, is very creepy. It gives you chills (or it did for me). I also had nightmares for two weeks after watching "Knowing," but that is also partly because I saw the movie when I was 10 years old.

I'll admit that I am a huge baby when it comes to scary movies, so since I don't watch them, I don't have a favorite scary movie.

I am actually more of a fan of those breathtaking, awe-filled romance movies. So I have to say "The Lucky One" is my favorite right now! As I am sure you can tell from the title, it's definitely not a scary movie.

"Halloweentown"! It's a kid movie, I know, but it's one of my all-time favorites!

Well, considering I don't watch scary movies, the Halloween special for SpongeBob is about as scary as it gets. I know it's weak, but I just don't have any desire to see someone pop out in front of me with a knife or something.

I am a total chicken. I don't think I've ever watched more than a few minutes of a movie that other, gutsier people would qualify as "scary." If you ever want me to sprint out of a room at the speed of light, just mention "Carrie." I'll be out of there before you can blink.
Anna Fogarty, junior, Central Catholic High School
I am not really a fan of scary movies. Around Halloween, I am more likely to be watching "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," than any scary movie.
Dominique Germann, senior, Central Valley High School
Since I don't like scary movies at all, my least favorites are "The Wizard of Oz" and "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" (the child catcher is soooo scary!).
Gabriella Germann, freshman, Central Valley High School
I am a total scaredy-cat, and the scariest movies I can watch are "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1" and "Clue," with Tim Curry. I still cower under a blanket during both of those!
