Five For Friday

MERCED (2-1 CCC, 5-3) at ATWATER (2-1, 6-2): The 43rd Santa Fe Bowl should be a fun matchup with both teams coming off big wins last week. The Bears hold a 28-14 lead in the all-time series between the two schools.

BUHACH COLONY (3-0, 6-2) at TURLOCK (1-2 CCC, 4-4): The Thunder weren't sharp early last week against Golden Valley, but pulled away for a 49-16 win. Buhach Colony has won 13 straight CCC games and can clinch at least a share of a third straight conference title with a win.

CHOWCHILLA (3-0 NSL, 6-2) at SIERRA (2-1, 6-2): A seventh straight win could give the Redskins at least a share of the North Sequoia League championship.

DOS PALOS (3-0 WSL, 3-5) at COALINGA (3-0, 6-2): The West Sierra League title is on the line tonight. The Broncos will have to slow down Coalinga running back Ryan Vasquez (1,247 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns).

PITMAN (1-2 CCC, 6-2) at GOLDEN VALLEY (0-3, 3-5): Golden Valley's Rashawn Vance rushed for 180 yards in the Cougars loss to Golden Valley last week.
