Sierra Repertory Theatre is bringing back the glass slipper, pumpkin coach and fairy godmother. The company is presenting its perennial favorite "Cinderella" in time for the holidays. This version is Rodgers and Hammerstein's comic musical, which premièred in 1957 as a CBS television special starring Julie Andrews. Carnival and haunts
The Associated Students of Modesto Junior College are sponsoring their eighth annual Halloween Carnival and Haunted House. The family-friendly event features music, games, pumpkin decorating, food, trick-or-treating, juggling, face painting and a family-appropriate costume contest.

California Theatre Centre presents "The Sleeping Beauty" in a production recommended for grades K-5. The timeless fairy tale, set in the Renaissance, pits evil against the power of knowledge and courage.
