Info: The Associated Students of Modesto Junior College and the Freedom Forum Club will hold a forum featuring the candidates for the 21st Assembly District Democrat Adam Gray and Republican Jack Mobley. Afterward, there will be an informal meet-and-greet between the candidates and the audience. Info: MJC's Civic Engagement Project presents "If a Tree Falls." The film follows the case of an Earth Liberation Front member accused of crimes of domestic terrorism. As his story unfolds, the film raises questions about the best ways for environmental activist groups to be heard. After the film, there will be two guest speakers: Denny Jackman, board member of the Central Valley Farmland Trust and of the Farmland Working Group, and Brad Barker, conservation chairman of the Yokuts Group of the Sierra Club.
