COPPEROPOLIS -- A 65-year-old Copperopolis woman was hurt Sunday afternoon when her car crashed through two fences and into a back porch on Deerfield Circle.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Joan Paris was driving south on O'Byrnes Ferry Road at 1:50 p.m. when she made an unsafe turn to the right.
The 2005 Mitsubishi that Paris was driving went off the road and down a grass hill into a wooden fence. The car continued through a back yard and into another fence, then into the back porch of the second home. Paris was taken to Sonora Regional Hospital for treatment.
