• AUTUMN MIXER AND NETWORKING EVENT

Info: The Latino Community Roundtable and the King-Kennedy Memorial Center board of directors will host an autumn mixer and networking opportunity event. Info: The Westside Animals for Adoption event will feature all sizes and breeds — family dogs, lap dogs, athletic dogs. • US-TOO PROSTATE CANCER SUPPORT GROUP

When: Monday, 6:30-9 p.m.

Where: Health Education and Conference Center, McHenry Village, 1700 McHenry Ave.

Info: Men diagnosed with prostate cancer meet the fourth Monday of each month. This month, Sandy Howell, a HICAP (health insurance counseling and advocacy program) counselor, will review Medicare and cover updates and changes to the program.
