Lytle, Sea of Bees cross-record for new CD
Former Modestan Jason Lytle, founder of the critically acclaimed rock band Grandaddy, and Sea of Bees have covered each other's songs for a limited 7-inch record by Modesto's Off the Air Records and Davis' Crossbill Records.
Lytle covered Sea of Bees' "Won't Be Long," and Sea of Bees covered Lytle's "Get Up and Go." The record comes out Nov. 23. For more, go online to www.offtheair.net.
Legends of Latin Rock
Central Valley Music Group and Latin Rock Inc. present the Legends of Latin Rock concert Oct. 19 at the Fat Cat Music House & Lounge. Moon Trent update

Matt Bauer

Walking Dead Sonora
The second annual Walking Dead Sonora zombie walk and food drive is Saturday. The event runs from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Washington Street and at Courthouse Park. There will be games, music, food, a zombie photo booth and costume contest. A free zombie makeup booth runs from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. (donations accepted). Zombies are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items for the Amador-Tuolumne County Action Agency of Jamestown and the Humane Society of Tuolumne County.
