Wine bar party to benefit cancer research

Camp 4 Wine Cafe in downtown Modesto will help the battle against breast cancer with a pink-themed party Oct. 25.

The business will donate 25 percent of the proceeds, as well as $5 for every bottle of rosé it sells, to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure fund.

Owner Damon Robbins said he already has bought pink Converse shoes for his staff.

The party will run from 7 to 11 p.m. at 1508 10th St.
