-- A Beyer High School teacher on trial accused of firing a gun at his neighbor will have to wait another day for a verdict.

The jury was expected to continue deliberating today in the trial of Ralph Bradley Keith, 55, who is charged with felony counts of assault with a firearm, negligent discharge of a firearm, making criminal threats and vandalism, along with a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest.

The jury of eight women and four men began deliberations about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday but had not reached a verdict.

Authorities say Keith fired two shots at Theodore Jasper Cummins over a fence line dispute near Keith's Oakdale home.
