The cool mornings, the mild afternoons, the crisp vibe that hearlds autumn in the Northern San Joaquin Valley enjoy it now, because it looks starting Sunday we are heading back to the summer.
The National Weather Service predicts a high of 71 in Modesto today, rising slightly through the weekend until we get to a high of near 90 by Wednesday. We may see high temps upwards of 10 to 15 degrees greater than normal by the end of next week, the Weather Service says.
In the meantime, the weather continues to be unpredictable the NWS calls it a bit of a tricky forecast, including rain in the foothills and even snow in the higher elevations through Friday.
