The Waterford School District board will meet at 7 p.m. today in the district boardroom, 319 N. Reinway Ave., Waterford. Trustees will hold a first reading of policy changes to charge nonprofit groups involved in youth activities for costs, including utilities and custodial time, while using school facilities, and another change updating policies on infectious diseases.

DENAIR BOARD TO MEET:

The Denair Unified School District board will meet at 7:30 p.m. today in the district boardroom, 3460 Lester Road, Denair. Trustees will hold a hearing on several board policies and vote on removing Denair High Room 409 and a tree.

DAVIS C2G ASSEMBLY: Grace M. Davis High School will hold its C2G (Commitment to Graduate) assembly today at 8:30 a.m.. The speaker will be former NASA astronaut and congressional candidate Jose Hernandez. The C2G program focuses on raising graduation rates. The assembly is a mock graduation ceremony where freshmen will walk the stage and commit to earning a diploma. Students will announce whether they intend to seek college, a career or enter the military.
