• What he did: The junior did not pile up the yardage as he often does, but he did plenty of scoring — all of it, in fact, as he scored six TDs and booted six extra points in a 42-6 win over Turlock Christian. Brown had 14 carries for 105 yards and four TDs, and caught five balls for 86 yards and two scores. He averages 140 yards rushing and 53 yards receiving a week.

• What it means: RC (5-1, 3-0) remains tied with Le Grand (5-1, 3-0) for first place in the SL, and the two meet in LeGrand in Week 10.

• What's next: RC is hosting second-tier Delhi (2-4, 1-2) Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Ripon High, then the difficult part of the schedule begins as the Knights visit contender Waterford (4-2, 2-1).
