The Republican Party of Stanislaus County invites those interested to watch Thursday's vice presidential debate together at GOP headquarters in Modesto.
Vice President Joe Biden and Republican nominee Paul Ryan, a congressman from Wisconsin, will square off in their only debate at 6 p.m.
The local event is 5:30 to 8 p.m. at 118 W. Orangeburg Ave. There will be a 12-footTV screen and light refreshments. There is no charge.
