Don't trust mainstream media

My eyes have finally been opened by the mainstream media to how wonderful our current president is and what a fantastic job he is doing.

All one has to do is open any newspaper or turn on any TV to see an almost endless series of stories of the triumphs of President Barack Obama. Unemployment is at record lows, General Motors is making a profit, foreclosures are almost nonexistent, health care costs are plummeting, green energy is adding thousands of new jobs daily and there is peace in the Middle East.

On the other hand, Republicans are gutting Medicare and Social Security/ They are solely responsible for the housing meltdown, dirty air and water, budget deficits, poor performing schools, a war on women and the cancellation of "Baywatch."

It was an intensely proud moment for me to know that our president had world events so under control that he went on the David Letterman show while Americans were being killed in Libya and our embassies were being sacked in other parts of the Middle East. That appearance on "The View" was heartwarming.

Let me be the first to call for the anointed one to appoint himself president for life!
